While I do not doubt the integrity of the App and how some people love the look, there are many features that should be included that are not. The most minor of my complaints is that there is no proper night mode for the menus. The constant white background while perusing the library of manga is quite harsh on the eyes at night. Then there is the fact that you cannot zoom in or out for each page of manga.
As a user on the iPhone X, reading the manga while the phone is rotated cuts off a bit of the page. Being able to zoom out would fix this. Lastly, how come I cannot search manga by tag. In theory this is a basic feature that is easy to implement but is mysteriously absent. I really loved this app.
I really did But as of late, the creators have become very sleazy. On an app that has pirated manga stolen from other pirate manga sites which steals them from translation sites. Do not download this app. Is a fantastic manga reading app, very easy to use. The only problem I would like to see fixed is if you download a manga, then start reading with slight WiFi connection it will only use internet to read. I live where I only get a little WiFi and need to download chapters so please fix it!
The whole coin system is an atrocity. The app itself works quite well, but it feels like there were a bunch of tacked on features to made the developers money.
Look, I get you gotta make a living, but at least let me give you a couple dollars to let me use the app without having a stroke. I decided to reinstall and try MangaZone one more time after a year and this latest update really satisfied me, most of my complains before now got fixed. A few things have improved now: - In Favorites list, they have "Completed" status on each manga - My favorite mangas are no more locked - In "My comments" section, it has manga name under your comments, and when you choose it, it will link to that manga which is really convenience!!!
