Ive got some problems creating melee AI for my custom race, so i decided it would be easier to simply open classic AI which Blizzard created for melee maps and classic races, and then adjust it to my race change units, upgrades and so on - i just need the "skeleton", "map" or "key" of AI so i wont forget anything However, they are in.
AI file, and AI editor in world editor can open only. WAI files. So, question is: can i turn. AI file into. WAI file somehow? And if even this isnt possible, is there somebody who could send me some random, working AI even for your own race, all i need is just adjust it to my race? Thank you very much. Joined Jan 1, Messages 1, There is no tool for doing that, but if you open the Ai Editor and choose import wai or so there are 2 sample AIs, Wyrmonger and some other orc AI.
However, now ill have to change Grunt into every other unit and hope i wont screw anything up. And theres still option that somebody would send me some working AI for race which uses more than 1 2 in case of wyrmmonger units. But anyway, thanks. Little edit: Creating AI from scratch is so or at least looks complicated If not for this, i wouldnt require any help.

That creates a map allright, I just get a duplicate of it beyond the one I can already see in-game, but otherwise not manipulate. Open the world editors and go to Open Map and there are 3 tabs: custom maps, melee maps, and campaign maps.
Then choose the Melee Map you wish to modify. But I vaguely suspected that the file systems had been altered. The game stores all game data in a totally different system so that it will be easier for Blizzard to deploy it through their launcher, but this means any modding tools from before that load game data will fail.
My tool has code for loading CASC written by DrSuperGood so it should be able to load the game data and browse it, such as if you want to look at unit models or icons. If you want, download the source and add in the missing features that Magos War3Model Editor used to have, to keep modding easy.
I played yesterday 2on2 match. I bought 2 Tower items from the human shop. Then I placed one but the other Tower item disappeared. I was like what just happened.
